Event Staff Needed!

Hello! MAAS is looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our weekend team hosting weddings and private events.

If you like being active, working in fast-paced situations, and being part of really beautiful, high-energy events—this could be a great fit. It's a bonus if you work in performing arts!

THE JOB:
No two events are exactly the same, but mostly you’ll be helping bring weddings to life—setting up spaces, supporting service, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

You’ll be working with a small team, staying on your feet, and jumping in where needed. Weddings can be fast-paced and detail-oriented, so we’re looking for people who can stay focused but also think creatively under pressure!

TYPICAL TASKS:
- Moving tables, chairs, and other heavy inventory
- Setting up AV equipment & being the go-to tech support
- Assisting during events (clearing, restocking, helping things stay organized)
- Lighting and managing fires!
- Working with vendors
- Resetting spaces as the event flows
- Space prep, and end-of-night breakdown/cleanup

SCHEDULE:
- Mostly Saturdays (some Fridays & Sundays)
- Shifts are usually 6–10 hours running 9am - 5pm / 5pm - 1am
- Busy season is spring through fall

EXPERIENCE:
Helpful but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!

PAY:
Starts at $22.50/hour through training, $25/hour thereafter (tips dependent on event)
