A Catering Insurance Certificate covering 1 Million Dollars in Liability that names   "TS Maas, LLC"  and  "The Maas Building" at 1325 N Randolph St #3 Philadelphia, PA 19122 as additionally insured location for the Day of the Event.

We do not have a catering kitchen here at MAAS. Spaces

The MAAS Office Kitchen:  If your party is eating upstairs, this kitchen may be used for plating and food prep.  However, any cooking beyond heating up a few dishes in the microwave or oven is NOT RECOMMENDED.   Keep in mind that this kitchen was never intended to be used for events - and it is directly in the path to the bathrooms.  That said, there is a bit of counter space for plating dishes.

  • large sink with hot water

  • 4-burner gas range

  • oven

  • mini fridge

  • microwave.

The MAAS Atrium:  When there’s a large dinner upstairs, perhaps you can plan on pulling up your catering van right in front of the building at 1325 N Randolph Street – and use the Hallway on Randolph St as a staging/plating/prepping area.   If the Guests are using the other staircase to go upstairs,  this may be a great idea – to have caterers on their own separate staircase.

The Cottage Kitchen: This is available to parties being held in the Garden/Patio and 5th Side

  • counter space

  • large fridge and freezer

  • a large sink

  • half pan Hobart Convection Oven.

The Gravel Area outside the Cottage Kitchen: This area can be incredibly useful as a catering space and/or food serving / plating area.  It’s large (14’ x 14’)  Consider doing a lot of your food prep and or service here.
